Germany Sales Mission 2023

On this five-day sales mission, we will make 12 or more sales calls with German tour operators across Frankfurt, Hannover, Hamburg, Berlin and Leipzig. Business comes in the form of leisure groups, FITs, and MICE.

Each sales appointment is scheduled to last for approximately 60-90 minutes, with every participant being given 5 minutes to speak about their product or destination. Additional time will be allocated for questions and answers.

• Morning: ICE Train from Frankfurt to Hannover
• Hannover Sales Call
• Afternoon: ICE Train from Hannover to Hamburg
• Stay overnight in Hamburg

Wednesday, Dec 13, 2023

• 10am - 4pm Hamburg sales calls
• Evening: Casual Dinner with Hamburg tour operators
• Stay overnight in Hamburg

Thursday, Dec 14, 2023

• Morning: ICE Train to Berlin
• 11am - 4pm: Sales Calls in Berlin
• Evening: Casual Dinner with Berlin tour operators
• Stay overnight in Berlin

Friday, Dec 15, 2023

• Morning: ICE Train to Leipzig
• Morning: Sales Calls in Leipzig
• Afternoon: ICE Train to Berlin
• Evening: End of sales mission

TRANSPORTATION

• We will travel by train between cities. The cost of transportation by train between cities, and taxis to and from client offices is included in the cost of this sales mission.
• It is recommended that participants arrive in Frankfurt no later than Sunday evening and meet at the host hotel the next morning.
• Participants should plan to depart from Berlin no sooner than Saturday morning.

• Le Meridien Hamburg (Tuesday, Dec 12 - Thursday, Dec 14, 2023): An der Alster 52 Hamburg, Germany; starting at 191 Euros per night
• Westin Grand Berlin (Thursday, Dec 14 - Saturday, Dec 16, 2023):  Friedrichstrasse 158-164, Berlin; starting at 207 Euros per night

We recommend that participants stay in the above properties or nearby accommodations to ensure a smooth execution of the sales mission.

INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS IN THE PARTICIPATION FEE

• Included in the price of this sales mission are the pre-scheduled appointments with travel trade buyers, as well as the cost of train tickets between cities and taxis to get to client meetings.
• The cost of this sales mission does not include other travel expenses such as airfare, accommodations, meals, and other ground transportation.

REFUND POLICY

• Registration fees are refundable up to 100 days prior to the event start date, minus a 3% processing fee.
• A 50% refund is provided for cancelation requests made between 99 to 50 days prior to the event start date.
• No refunds can be given for cancelations within 49 days of the event start date. Explore Marketing can then represent your organization during the sales mission and provide you with reports after the event.

NON-COMPETITIVE PARTICIPANTS:

Our sales missions fill up on a first-come, first-serve basis. Great care is placed to have our sales missions joined by non-competing service providers or destinations. This allows us to provide buyers with a range experiences that complement another, and ensures great visibility and a positive outcome for all participants.
